The project at a glance
For GMP+ International, Xuntos has developed a new website. The vision of GMP+ is that animal feed should be safe for animals, people and our planet. GMP+ International is the world's largest scheme for safe and sustainable animal feed. And with this, our mission is to enable every company in the animal feed chain to take responsibility for working in a safe and sustainable way.

The search for a future-proof platform
GMP+ International wanted to build a user-friendly, fast, secure and flexible open source platform based on proven technology.
The new platform not only had to optimally serve the end user, but also provide GMP+ with scalability, data insights and future-ready functionality.
The existing website had grown into a major source of information for various target groups, but finding the right content proved difficult. Both customers and potential customers experienced frustration when looking for information, which made it clear that it was time for a new, smart and efficient approach.
Strategy & Discovery
Together with our UX partner Online Department, we investigated how GMP+ could better serve its target groups. Through interviews and sessions with users and the project team, we gained insight into their needs and frustrations. Based on this, we developed an initial concept and a new navigation structure that better matches the way visitors search for information.
Design & Validation
We translated the insights into a user-friendly design with clear target group entries and improved navigation. Through prototypes and user tests, we tested the most important interactions and further adapted the design based on feedback. This is how a design was created that is clear, contemporary and task-oriented.
Build & Launch
The website was developed in the Umbraco CMS based on the .NET Core framework. Thanks to the modular structure, the editors can easily manage and expand pages. In addition, we created an API integration with STIPP that automatically loads certification documents and presents them in a readable way. The website is multilingual and hosted in Umbraco Cloud for optimal performance and security.
Support & Further Development
After the launch, Xuntos will continue to support GMP+ with management, monitoring and optimization. Thanks to the flexible CMS structure and scalable technical basis, the website can easily be further developed. In this way, the platform continues to grow with new wishes, data insights and future innovations from GMP+ International.
Document integration
Both certified companies and companies that want to become certified have to deal with many different documents to determine what they must comply with. All these certificate schemes are contained in PDFs and are not always easy to read.
To increase readability and manageability, all certification documents are retrieved from the STIPP source. The user can choose to read or download the documents online. When reading online, he is helped to get started with an additional menu to quickly go through the content of the document.
